How Long Will Cooked Chicken Stay Good in Fridge Reddit
How long can I keep cooked chicken in the fridge until it goes bad?
I was wondering if I could cook all of my chicken on a Sunday and then just reheat it throughout the week but I'm not sure if it will go bad before the next Sunday.

Every Sunday I cook about 5 lbs of chicken and eat it Monday through Friday. I don't have any problems. I think you will be fine

Thanks, is it stored in the fridge or do you freeze it?

I cook, cut, and then freeze mine. Then I just break off .5 lb per meal where I use chicken and microwave for 2.5 min with some water. Juicy every time and I don't have to worry about it going bad quickly.

This is the right answer, this is what I do.

Hey, I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I find that when I reheat my cooked chicken (usually through microwaving or oven) it gets really dry.
What I usually do is just marinate a whole shit load of chicken breasts on the weekend and freeze them all. Every night, I take however much I'm going to eat and put it in the fridge to defrost and I just throw it in the oven for ~30mins. Tastes amazing, literally only takes seconds to prepare once you've already marinated it.

A week max unless you recook into in another dish. Also don't reheat entire plate once refrigerated.

Takes far longer than a week to go bad, provided you haven't covered it in a sugar-based barbeque sauce that will grow bacteria. That's kind of redundant on this thread, however.
I've had chicken thighs that lasted two and a half weeks before going bad.

Make sure it's wrapped/boxed securely and it should be fine. Also you can delay spoiling by adding a light coating of salt and/or hot spices to disrupt bacterial growth.

I'd say 5 days in sealed tupperware. Put a few paper towels in there to suck up moisture. You might make 7 days on a push. If it starts to feel smiley then bin it.

Use your senses. If it looks good, smells good, and tastes good, then I usually eat it. After about 7 days, or if there is any doubt toward the above, I'll usually trash it just to be on the safe side. Chicken is cheap, and certainly not worth getting sick over.

Like the majority here, about a week. I find the chicken starts tasting worse by the day with Tupperware.

I reheat pretty much everything for up to a week and have never had any trouble. I keep everything in Tupperware in the fridge.

5 weeks is my max... Steamed it.. Forgot about it in the fridge.. smelled and tasted like I just made it 5 weeks later..

Fuck if I know but I usually make a ton of it Sundays (have some in the slow cooker right now actually) and eat it throughout the week, either with veg or in salads, etc. I just had some in an omelette today from last Sunday and I'm not dead yet.
